TC decided to review a call options program :

Through this program, Threshold can lend assets (T, ETH, or tBTC) to entities like options trading desks such as Flowdesk, which will set up a call options trading program.

Call options for these assets will be created with different expirations, strike prices, and amounts. The yield generated will be passed to Threshold as the asset owner.

If strike prices are met at expiration, the call options will be exercised—assets are sold and stablecoins are returned to Threshold.

If strikes are not met call options can be cancelled or rolled over to a new term with new parameters.

Notes

• We worked a lot with Flowdesk, it's a reliable partner and they trade the options themselves.
• We have no previous relationship with Autonomous . They intro'd in a call and act as intermediaries, not trading themselves the options.
• T options is not on the table, there are already TWO options live (Flowdesk x 90m and StudioB x 46m) -> market is too thin to accept more.
• Revenue opportunitiy look similar in both cases, with the caveat that Autonomous charge fees on top of these numbers:
