Q: How is the audit going?
A: I have to be a little bit evasive here. Unfortunately. We have an audit from Trail of Bits and Least Authority. Trail of Bits has been more communicative than Least Authority has been. We've gotten some weaknesses identified. And and shoring up those weaknesses may take some additional time. But also we might be able to deliver as, as intended.
Q: How is the client work progressing? still according to schedule?
A: Yeah, as far as we can tell, we are on schedule. So things are still going well, client side.
Q: Can you explain the relay used in v2, how it differs from v1, who funds it and potential risks (centralization risks?) with relay?
A: This is a huge question. I think it's like, it's an incredibly important one. And so I want to go through a lot of the context here. Starting sort of like from the beginning. So in order to explain what a relay is, what the v2’s relay is and what and how it differs from v1. If this were to explain, like what we what what we're trying to relay and why we need to relay information in the first place. Like why we have to tell Bitcoin about or Ethereum about Bitcoin and what exactly we're telling them. Full answer in call transcript.
